It is a versatile software solution that is Cloud hosted with required functionality to manage public access to broadband Internet. It has in-built components such as follows.

The above components are essential to manage AAA functionality when provisioning public access to broadband Internet.

In addition, our platform is also integrated with other third-party systems such as follows.

  • Customer Relationship Management systems (CRM)
  • Short Message Service Controller (SMSC)
  • Wireless LAN Controller (WLC)

Such integration enhances the capabilities of the core software.

In addition, it has built-in functionality that allows critical data managed by centraSERV to be exported to Cloud hosted or on premise accounting & billing servers for security and customized data analysis and management.

Any business that is providing public access to broadband Internet should deploy centraSERV. Key industries that could benefit from centraSERV will be;

The required infrastructure will be a minimum at the venue as centraSERV along with all software modules will be Cloud hosted. In addition, the venue should have sufficient Internet bandwidth from a reputed and reliable Internet Service Provider (ISP) for centraSERV to deliver efficient and reliable service for the venue.

centraSERV business model will include three stakeholders as follows.

Innovative Data Solutions – The developer and the sole proprietor of centraSERV platform, which is licensed to Reseller and Customer through the Resellers.

Resellers – any business which has the ability to deploy centraSERV and provide the use of the platform to their Customers could become a Reseller.

A typical Reseller should be able to;

  • Provide Internet bandwidth to their Customers in the capacity of a Telecommunication Company (TELCO), Internet Service Provider (ISP) or as a reseller of Internet bandwidth of a TECO or an ISP
  • Design, install and commission WiFi and structured cable networks for their Customers, with active and passive components from their Principals or purchased from the local market
  • Demonstrate centraSERV to potential Customers with suitable Internet Gateways and with adequate training on the product obtained from us
  • Provide adequate technical staff needed to set up and manage centraSERV for their Customers by providing 24x7x365 support in the country and have a call-center if and when necessary to handle the volume of support calls
  • Provide guaranteed sales of 1k room licenses during the first year of operations and repeat the same sales volume in following years for at least five years

Customers – any business or party which owns or manage a venue where public access to broadband Internet is provided as a mandatory service that is expected by their customers will qualify as Customers of centraSERV.

A typical Customer should;

  • Own or manage a venue such as a Hotel, Coffee Shop, Campus or School etc., where customers expect access to free
    WiFi
  • Have the required infrastructure to deploy centraSERV at the venue with adequate Internet bandwidth
  • Have adequate staff on premise to be able to provide 1st level of support to their customer who are end-users of centraSERV
  • Provide required integration facility to related other systems that are needed for centraSERV platform to facilitate connected services delivery environment to the end-users of centraSERV at the venue

End-Users – all subscribers who visit venues where centraSERV is deployed to provide connected service delivery with public access to broadband Internet will be end-users of centraSERV. They could belong to the following key categories.

Hospitality – Resident Guests, Walk-in Guests, Visitors, Hotel Employees and Staff

Retail – General Public who frequent Coffee Shops, Malls, Movie Theaters

Education – College Students, Campus Undergraduates, Academic Staff, Parent who visit educational institutions

Access to Internet is becoming so important and a necessity today and anyone who has a mobile device that needs connectivity on the move will be an end-user for centraSERV, falling in to many categories of customer venues where we plan to deploy centraSERV.

centraSERV business models can be Managed or Un-managed depending on the Reseller’s preference where the cost of user license will vary accordingly.

Managed Business Model
Under managed business model, we will provide customized solutions based on the exact customer requirement. Our service will include initial portal page design, any changes thereafter that includes ad-hoc pages for promotions, advertisements etc., All these will be provided without any additional charges to the Customer. In addition, we will configure the software according to customer’s needs and to optimize the use of resources at the venue. In short, we will handle all management related to centraSERV for the Customer by providing 24x7x365 support for the installation, without charging extra for any of our services.

Un-managed Business Model
centraSERV has built-in portal and other necessary pages that could be managed and customized by the Reseller, to suit the requirement of the Customer. For this purpose, we will provide on-line training to the Reseller’s staff as and when necessary and thereafter, the configuration and management of all Customer sites will have to be done by the Reseller. We will be providing software patches from time to time, which will take care of changes that are necessary due to operating system and other hardware related changes of the end-user devices.

Based on the business model that is suitable for you, we will be able to provide you with the detailed costing of centraSERV licenses and as such, you are advised to contact us for the best business proposition for your exact requirement.

As an indicative cost of centraSERV in the hospitality industry, the following list prices will be applicable where the license fee will be for a room per month, which will be charged as an Annual License Fee, paid in advance.

All prices are in US$ and should be paid in foreign currency to IDS by the Reseller. The customers may pay the Resellers in local currency.

All our Resellers will get centraSERV user licenses at discounted rates that would be as high as 40% off list price, depending on the volume of business they generate. We reimburse up to 50% of the first year’s sales income during the 2nd year of operation to Resellers, especially to compensate for the cost of business development during the first year.

In addition, we provide very attractive discounts on Nomadix hardware purchased along with centraSERV so that the bundled solution is extremely competitive for our mutual advantage.

Hospitality Broadband Management FAQ

Any hotel could use centraSERV, although hotel chains could gain more from deploying our platform, which is centralized and Clod hosted. Since our platform is centralized, all guests could use their familiar Passwords for all hotels or use social media accounts for authentication.

The required infrastructure will be a minimum at the hotel as centraSERV along with all software modules will be Cloud hosted. The essential hardware at the hotel will be limited to a suitable Internet Access Gateway (AG) that could handle the number of concurrent users who will be allowed access at the venue at any given time. In addition, the hotel should have a WiFi network with sufficient Internet bandwidth from a reputed and reliable Internet Service Provider (ISP) for centraSERV to deliver efficient and reliable service at the hotel.

All hotels will be Customers of centraSERV and they could purchase centraSERV license from a Reseller. Our business model will include three stakeholders as follows.

End-Users – all Guests who visit hotels where centraSERV is deployed to provide connected service delivery with guest access to broadband Internet will be end-users of centraSERV.

Yes, we contract with hotels and chains and provide centraSERV licenses directly to our Customers. In this case, we expect the Customers to provide all required infrastructure for centraSERV to be deployed on their own, including the hosting facilities.

The Customers should also provide the required bandwidth from a reputed ISP where they should have direct contracts with the selected ISP.

In the case of direct Customers, they will benefit from the discounted rates for the licenses they purchase from us, which could be as high as 40% off list price, depending on the volume of business they generate. We reimburse up to 50% of the first year’s sales income during the 2nd year of operation to all direct Customers, especially to compensate for the cost of infrastructure during the first year.

Unless you are a large hotel chain which has the ability to deploy resources at each property to support the Guest network, it is highly recommended that you contact with a Reseller to deploy centraSERV at your property. The qualifying criteria for direct customers will be as follows.

  • Large chains with their own Data Centers (DC) or Network Operating Centers (NOC)
  • Ability to negotiate for better pricing for bandwidth from an ISP
  • Able to deploy Level 1 support personnel for Guest support on site
  • Hotels with less than 100 rooms who opt for un-managed Business Model
  • Hotels who do not have a standard Property Management System (PMS)

Our platform will be licensed to homes where you will be required to pay a monthly subscription for our service. We could also provide you with the Access Gateway (AG) along with our services as a turnkey solution, if you do not want to own any hardware. In that case, you will have the freedom to terminate our services at any time, no questions asked.

Note: If you decide for a turnkey solution, you will have to pay us a refundable deposit for the Access Gateway, which we will refund if and when the hardware is returned for some reason.

The annual license cost of centraSERV will depend of the functionality you need and it will be scalable. The most basic license that would allow you to manage your broadband at home will cost you US$ 2.00 per month. The cost of the Access Gateway will depend on the product you select and we will only be able to provide you with the cost, after we configure the best solution for you. Our service is flexible and we provide the home owner with the option of purchasing the hardware and reduce monthly license fee at any time. If and when that happens, we will credit the refundable deposit towards the hardware purchase. However, we suggest that you make the decision to change the payment plan within the first 3 months so that you get the maximum advantage from the changeover.
